  • Mediation week at Lakshadweep

    A mediation week at Lakshadweep was conducted from 13.02.2017 to 17.02.2017 by extending and utilizing the service of requisite number of trained mediators of Kerala State Mediation and Conciliation Centre to mediate cases referred by the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala. This programme was arranged as per the Lakshadweep State Legal Services Authority, since they have no trained Mediators to conduct the mediation.

  • Mediation training programme at Alappuzha 22,23 January 2016

    One to One interactive refresher programme and Refresher course on mediation for the mediators and referral judges will be held at Alappuzha. Hon'ble Mr. justice A. Muhammad Mustaque,member, Board of Governors, KSMCC will inaugurate the programme. There will be an interaction with the lawyers at the Bar Association Hall on the dame day at 12 pm.

  • One to One interactive Refresher programme at Kalpetta

    One to One interactive refresher programme for mediators and Refresher course on mediation for the referral judges and mediators of Kalpetta judicial district on 27 and 28 November 2015 at Kalpetta. Hon'ble Mr. Justice K. Ramakrishnan, member, Board of Governors, KSMCC will inaugurate the programme

    The project is implemented with the support and guidance of the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC) of the Supreme Court of India.
    District Mediation Centres were established at all the District Head quarters and at North Parur and Mavelikkara.  Sub centres are functioning at many places.  High Court Mediation Centre is located in the second floor of the High Court building.

Kerala State Mediation and Conciliation Centre (KSMCC) is an initiative of the High Court of Kerala. It has been conceived as a project for giving effect to Section 89 of the Code of Civil Procedure which provides for Mediation as an Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism.

The project is implemented with the support and guidance of the Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC) of the Supreme Court of India.

District Mediation Centres were established at all the District Head quarters and at North Parur and Mavelikkara.  Sub Centres are functioning at many places.  High Court Mediation Centre and the District Mediation Centre, Ernakulam, were integrated in August, 2013 as Ernakulam Mediation Centre with mediation halls at the High Court and at ADR Centre, Kaloor. 601 Lawyers were trained as Mediators between 2008-2009 and 2014-2015.
